How is a church to deal with sin in it's camp? Paul lays out a serious sexual problem within the Corinth church that would require some church discipline. This church was not only "open minded" & "tolerant" of gross sin, but they were boasting as if their stance was a sign of spiritual maturity! What is the proper response to sin within the church? We we should mourn over it personally, deal with it Biblically, and then purge it out entirely.
