We gather on Sundays to celebrate Jesus.  It's meant to be a glorious time of worship, prayer, fellowship, and study of the word.  But what happens when our gatherings aren't reflecting God's design?  The Corinth church had some problems in their "Sunday gatherings".  They were despising authority and roles, not being sensitive to the culture and their witness, and their conduct toward communion was downright awful!  Paul is correcting them and reminding us as well of how things are to be when we gather together.
