I was meeting with a client on Friday in our conference room. I had been sitting there for over an hour with my right leg crossed over my left. The minute we stood, I knew my right foot was asleep. I tried to take a step forward to shake hands, but that lazy old foot was not cooperating and it dropped me to the floor like a bag of bricks. I was quite embarrassed as you might imagine…but still got the deal.
It is not often that I fall down in the physical realm. Mostly it happens in the spiritual realm and more often than I would like. I’m sure You have heard that irritating TV commercial: “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.” Spiritually speaking, that ad is true for the lost souls of this world. However, there is good news for you and me. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:16: “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.” (NKJV) If you are like me and have gone way over falling the seven times mentioned in the proverb, don’t worry, it’s just an example. We can fall seventy times seven, and more! Our Redeemer lives and we are safe, always holding fast and believing in the One who has forgiven all of our sins. So, we just get back up, dust ourselves off and carry on like a good soldier. It’s a new day, and this forgiveness deal is truly God’s will for us on this day and every day we remain on this earth. May God bless your day. Mike Means Treasurer/Elder

I've experienced falling down before. I really believe on the passage you've posted. In order to succeed, we must experience downfall first. Being at the top takes a lot of practice and sacrifice. Through God, we have to find motivation and inspiration to move forward.
