“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
I’m sitting in the airport in Seattle after dropping my oldest daughter, Hannah, off at Bible college. As I reflect on the past month with her being home I’m amazed at how God has worked in her. She felt the Lord leading her to step out in faith and apply to go to the Seattle campus. The cost was more. The distance was further from home. The place was unfamiliar. We prayed and gave it to the Lord and God not only provided what she needed, but even more! It truly was a miracle. A step of faith by all of us that I know she will never forget. We trusted God to get her there, and now as I leave for Phoenix, we are trusting God to take care of her. We won’t be able to hug our firstborn until May. That’s a tough one! It’s another step of faith. See, God is always calling to us to step out in faith. Some are harder to take than others, but all are necessary. Why? Often through those times is when we see God in a real way. What areas are you having to trust God to move? Finances, health, marriage and family? Don’t give up. Don’t jump ship. Don’t throw in the towel. He isn’t done. Trust Him one step at a time. Jesse Claycamp Lead Pastor
