Seasons come and go in life.  Some are exciting, others are a struggle.  But in every season we walk by faith in the Lord.  He is in charge and knows what He is doing.
On January 11th we entered a new season as a church.  We began a project earlier that week to update the sanctuary and move the church services into our fellowship hall temporarily.  Demolition began as we took out the pews, tore out the carpet, drywalled, and began painting.  At the same time a crew was setting up everything in the new place to hold services.  It was a long week, but fruitful..  God is moving forward and Sunday, January 11th, was a blast having everyone packed in!  You could hear the voices singing loudly.  You sensed a oneness, a unity, a grace from God for this season.  It truly is an exciting season for us as a church.
In seasons of life I think it's important to remember a few things.
1) Be flexible.  Things don't always go as you planned.
2) Be graceful.  You need to be gracious with everyone around you who is trying to figure out the new season as well.
3) Be excited.  Not for the "uncomfortable" aspects, but that God is doing something new and fresh!  You want to be a conduit for that joy He gives to share it with others.
May God bless you and our church as we continue to move forward in faith.
